N. Korea's parliament meeting to approve agricultural reforms

SEOUL, Sept. 25 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's rubber-stamp parliament was to meet on Tuesday to approve the country's push to increase farm products as its new regime is widely believed to be striving to consolidate its power through economic achievement.

In the Supreme People's Assembly on Tuesday, North Korean legislators are expected to discuss and decide on measures aimed mainly at allowing more leeway for farmers to sell surplus agricultural products.
