The blaze began in a garage at a home on 52nd and Pentridge streets.
Crews are on the scene of a three-alarm fire in the Kingsessing section of the city.
The blaze began in a garage at a home on 53rd and Pentridge streets.
Police say the fire extended to row homes in the area. Nearby houses have been evacuated. The evacuees were bussed to the Shaw Middle School on 54th and Warrington. The Red Cross is also currently on location.
Investigators have not revealed information on any injuries at this time.
