LAKEWOOD, Wash. —
A 40-year old mental patient is jailed in Pierce County, accused of killing another patient by jabbing a pen into his ear.
The 28-year old victim was found dead in another patient’s room at Western State Hospital on Friday.
Police say the 40-year-old confessed to the killing.
