Editor’s note: According to @latimes, safety has been an issue at the Santa Monica, Calif., airport near where Harrison Ford’s plane crashed Thursday. In 2013, 4 people died in an accident at the airport and the Times reports residents have long pressed to close it. Ford was part of a group of airport tenants who filed a federal complaint challenging any move to close the airport in 2013. – Jillian
