Scattered heavy downpours, possible flooding forecast for Charlotte, NC, area through 10 pm ET - @wcnc

This evening:

Scattered heavy downpours through 10pm some with flooding rains. Temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80°. The Chance of rain is 80%. 

Tonight:

Scattered showers and heavy downpours ending after midnight. Low temperatures will only drop into the low 70s. The chance of rain is 60%

Wednesday:

Partly to mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be strong with heavy rain and gusty winds. Highs will be in the low to mid-80s. The chance of rain is 60%.

Extended Forecast:

Thursday a cold front will move in from the northwest kicking off more showers and storms but helping to move the remnants of Isaac out of here. Highs Thursday will be in the mid to upper 80s. Friday more sunshine and fewer storms with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
