Thailand's prime minister faces a no-confidence debate - @BPbreakingnews

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was ready for the planned no-confidence debate by the main opposition Democrat Party, her secretary general Suranand Vejjajiva said on Saturday.

Mr Suranand said Ms Yingluck was ready to answer all questions to be made by the Democrats.

The prime minister called on the main opposition MPs to refrain from playing political game to discredit the government during the censure debate, he added.

The people want to see the oppositions to monitor in a constructive ways for the best benefit of all Thai people, Mr Suranand quoted Ms Yingluck as saying.

The prime minister confirmed her stance on the move to change the 2007 Constitution and to bring about national reconciliation that they are matters to be decided by members of parliament, not the government, he said.
