Israeli embassy in Ireland evacuated

(CNN) -- Israel's embassy in Ireland was evacuated when a suspicious device was found at the diplomatic mission in Dublin, Irish police said Tuesday.

An army bomb disposal unit was sent to the scene, police said.

An embassy spokesman declined to comment on the situation, saying the embassy does not comment on security issues. He declined to give his name.
