South Korean prosecutors launch probe into main opposition party's leadership election - @YonhapNews

SEOUL, June 27 (Yonhap) -- Prosecutors said Wednesday they have launched an investigation into alleged election irregularities in regard to the leadership race of the main opposition Democratic United Party (DUP) in which former Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan was elected as the new chief.

The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office said it has been requested by the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to look into allegations of double voting in the tight leadership contest, which was held via both mobile and on-site voting from May 21 until June 9.
