A teen-age male was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the 6900 block of South Union Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood about 8:40 p.m., according to the Chicago Fire Department.

The 15-year-old boy was killed in a possible drive-by shooting, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said, citing preliminary reports.

Two others were shot about an hour later on the 6700 block of South Blackstone Avenue in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, according to Chicago Fire Department Cmdr. Sean Flynn, a department spokesman.

An "elderly" patient was transported in good-to-fair condition to Jackson Park Hospital and a 21-year-old man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, he said.

Another person was shot in the 6200 block of South Rhodes Avenue in the West Woodlawn neighborhood about 10:30 p.m., Chicago Police News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti said.

The 21-year-old was shot in the right foot, Ursitti said, citing early reports.
