POLICE have set up a crime scene after a woman's body was found at Clovelly Beach in Sydney's exclusive east.
Just before 9am today, emergency services were called to the beach after surfers located the body approximately 200 metres from shore.
The body has been retrieved and officers attached to Eastern Beaches Local Area Command are attempting to identify the woman, who is thought to be aged in her 30s or 40s.
Police are yet to determine whether her death is suspicious.
