NY Man Dies in PA Plane Crash

Honesdale, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A plane crashes in Wayne County and takes the life of a New York man.
Pennsylvania State Police report the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cherry Ridge Airport in Cherry Ridge Township near Honesdale.
The pilot was the only occupant of the single engine 1973 Cessna, only identified as a man over the age of 50 from New York. The man's identity will only be released once next of kin is notified.
The victim was flown to Scranton Community Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
An investigator from the Federal Aviation Administration was on the scene as of 4:00 p.m.
