French election turnout figures show 30.66% voter participation at noon
Nationwide, 30.66% of the French electorate had already voted by midday on Sunday in the second round of the presidential election, up on the April 22 first round (28.29%) but some 4 points lower than in 2007 (34.11%). Polls close at 8pm Paris time (GMT+1).
