Three fishermen stranded on a B.C. island for 10 days after their boat sank have been rescued.
The Rescue Co-Ordination Centre in Victoria says the men were on a fishing trip earlier this month when their 15-metre fishboat, the Pacific Siren, capsized south of Prince Rupert.
The men managed to get into a life raft and paddle to Banks Island, where they used the raft as shelter and ate clams and seaweed.
A passing sailboat eventually spotted the men and picked them up.
A Coast Guard vessel was sent to meet the sailboat and take the men back to Prince Rupert.
None of the men is reported injured.
